Doubtful @ first, I whirled in with every intention of whirling back out ~

but Holy Lucky - it was amazekittens! Comme shopping an amazing Bergdorf 5F Sale* with complimentary gelato, cheese, Luna bars, Svedka cocktails & a killer DJ.

Beautifully set-up, vendors sell from clearly-marked-booths with helpful-staff-on-hand… and the DJ had me boppin’ to fierce beats as I shimmied down the aisles. Had a motherf-ing blast. By myself!

Point is: Go Today. 11am-5pm. For $20 entry (buy online, $30 @ door), you’ll get amazing deals. They promise re-stocked merch and markdowns throughout the day. And if you’re there past 3… get crunked while shopping! (Svedka cocktails 3-5).

*except quite unlike Bergdorf 5F, there are no real dressing rooms. So go in leggings and a tank & take advantage of mirrors everywhere.

Notes from Bali, July 2009

Ever since I was mini-Vie, I have known with gluttonous conviction that someday, I’d be boppin’ round Bali on my honeymoon.

Lucky for me; Husby delivered… in a big way, as we kicked off our 9.5 week Spoilfest with the most mindboggling week @ Amankila & Amanusa.

[Ever since visiting Amanyara (Turks & Caicos), I’ve been chomping @ the bit to experience Aman Resorts in their original habitat - Indonesia.]

And shit, kittens.

It was breathtaking.

Deliciously exotic food, pamperriffic Balinese massages, private huts on beautiful beaches… and best of all, ridiculously romantic experiences that Husby & I will remember forever.

One evening @ Amankila, our most charming driver shuttles our Escalade 30 minutes up a mountaintop - to the middle-of-nowhere. Two butlers pop out of trees & direct us down a candelit path to a private “bale” (bed) built into the rocky landscape. The drop-off is steep; but the effect - worth it. Husby and I are cuddling in a bed literally sticking out of a Balinese mountain!

Moments later, we’re delivered gourmet canapes and cocktails, and … WhatTheFuck… watching the *sunset* from the best seat… on Earth.

Absolutely one of the most memorable, luckiest days of this Moopig’s life.
